Don't get the other kinds, or even think plastic feet are adequate. Spend some money on a package or a few of these, and put them under everything. They adhere good, are nice and thick, are neutral color, and come with all the sizes you could need for all furniture types. Have a package in the closet and use them when movers bring new furniture in. You'll be glad you did. Some of the pads didn't stick, but I was impatient and stuck them on without cleaning the surface of the chair and table legs. The pads are thick enough - too thick maybe for simple objects that would sit on a counter. So far I am happy with them and I believe they will bond onto the legs better with time when the glue and pressure work together to create a more permanent bond. If not, I will do better and clean the wood before I try to bond them on again. This packaging gets an "F" really an "F." Whoever the packaging company was should be fired. The pads themselves are fine and worth the buy, but I'm so annoyed by opening the package that I wanted to return them in a bag with the shredded paper. First off, it's really hard to peal the paper backing off. It's glued to the plastic yet it has the only set of directions on it, so you try to preserve it, but you find yourself only ripping it more to get it to come off and then once it's off you realize that you still have more paper to get through and now need a knife, at which point you are likely to poke the pieces and cause damage. Now I don't even know if the packaging is recyclable, because the paper is so fused to the plastic! Terrible ecological decision!
